matches a job seeker’s skills and abilities with occupations,
employers, and job openings. OASYS provides services to your employer
customers by allowing them to find qualified applicants for their
job openings. OASYS is an incredibly powerful tool for use by those
who deliver and support labor exchange services.

Job-Match is uniquely positioned for use by both professionals
(evaluators, counselors, and technicians) and customers by providing
different and distinct modes of access to the software. The Counselor’s
and Job Developer’s Workstations serve the professional user,
the Job Seeker’s Workstation serves the customer, and the
Browse Workstation is used by all.
OASYS
JobMatch Job Seeker's Workstation - enables job seekers (clients/customers)
to use parts of OASYS without the assistance of a counselor.
It is intended for use by organizations who want job seekers to
play a greater role in employment activities. It contains personal
data entry, occupational exploration, career path development and
job searching functions. This component can also be used by technicians
who could be responsible for entering some of the above data.
Job Seekers can access training information (schools), employers
in the employer bank, open job orders in the job bank, and record
their work history, personal and work preferences, and discover
jobs that match to their transferable skills and requirements.
VERTEK’s peerless training files incorporate information
from both the U.S. Department of Education and the State SOICC.
The Information a Job Seeker enters on this workstation is saved
in the database. The data is then accessible to counselors working
on their own workstations. The payoff is that staff effectiveness
is improved with less time expended on individual cases.
