| All students engaged in the process of career exploration and
decision making must have access to career information to make
informed decisions about careers and their futures. Students' decisions will be better informed when they understand
how their unique interests and aptitudes mesh with the requirements
of jobs Critical functions for successful career transition include, among
others, good assessment, access to all relevant occupational information,
and a method for the student to analyze his/her skills and understand
their relationship to job requirements, and to the development
of appropriate work behaviors. The following programs support these functions for special education
students.
